Thanks for your past support over the last year. it is you the residents who give me my fuel to represent you. I have received and been supported by so many people. I have received hundreds of emails and words of encouragement.

I have asked questions at meetings until I was satisfied I was making a educated decision. I have done my best to represent you with a fair voice and with integrity. Thanks for all the words of encouragement.

Some of the Agenda items I have supported with my vote are as follows.

I have voted against the renewal of a water millage at no cost to taxpayers

I have tried my best to support the improvements of our neighborhoods thru  non-conforming driveway ordinance.
I still would like to see a arbitration team  for this in cases of hardships or grand-fathered cases.
(This may have been my most difficult decision in the past year,since it is so broad-based in such a variety of cases.)

I have voted for a fence arbitration team in cases of
disagreement

I have voted for a amendment to our Open Burning ordinance, equipping it with a bit more restrictions to open burn and penalties in the cases of gross violators.

I elected to not do anything in cases of  RV's and Boats parked in driveways. No solutions seem to work, because of the wide array of housing in our city. I do understand the frustrations that some homeowners experience, looking at their neighbors vehicles in their driveways. I wish these few problems would result in solutions amongst neighbors which I am sure they usually do.

Parks and Recreation

I supported the Gafke Park Improvements from the beginning.
I believe if you were going to improve this park ,fix the whole thing at one time not in pieces over years.It is now a park to be proud of.This was all done with Community Developement Block Grant Money at NO COST to taxpayers

I supported the improvements to the SCS Civic Ice Arena, The SCS Golf Course and The Municipal Pool.Though it is tough to make improvements to these properties in these tough economic times,it was a necessary improvement to maintain the up-keep

Business Community

When presented I have voted to be "business friendly"
Including the expansion of Adiamo's restaurant,the expansion of parking lot to Dr. Steinberg DDS's office on Harper.

I have supported the St. Patrick Days Outdoor Parties of Pat O'Briens and and Plaid Rabbit's

I supported the tv's being put in at the Plaid Rabbit to help them compete with other competing taverns that have the same thing.

I have supported the outdoor Pavillion at the Jefferson Beach Yacht Club

I have supported the events of the Nautical Mile Merchants Association including outdoor events at the Splash Bash and AquaFest.

I have been a supporter of 9/Mack Business Associations JuneFest and the Harper Avenue Business Associations /Kiwanis Car Cruise.

I supported the Corrider Improvement Authority(C.I.A.) on Harper to help re-vitalize our cities main business district.

I believe a strong business community is a core pillar of better city.
